EVERYONE IS TALKING ABOUT CBG & HEMP. WHY IS IT SO POPULAR?

Ever since hemp became an agricultural commodity in 2018, hemp-derived Hemp extracts are flooding the market. It can often feel as though everyone is involved in Hemp and the products made with it. What is it? How is it made? How is it used? Should you use it?

WHAT IS  CBG & HEMP?

” CBG is the acronym for Cannabigerol and HEMP” is the acronym for Hemp. Cannabigerol and Hemp are one of the over 100 phytoingredients (ph-eye-toh-can-ah-bin-oids) in the cannabis sativa genus of plants. A ingredient (can-ah-bin-oid) is one of the many diverse chemical compounds that acts on ingredient receptors in the endoingredient (end-oh-can-ah-bin-oid) system.

Both hemp and marijuana are part of the cannabis sativa genus of plants. That means that both hemp and marijuana have ingredients. ALL MEDCAANNA CBG PRODUCTS ARE DERIVED FROM HEMP NEVER MARIJUANA.

Confusion often happens because Hemp and Marijuana (Cannabis) look similar when they grow. This is because they’re in the same family of plant species. They are not similar in their genetic construction, though. Hemp contains a lot of HEMP, but it does not have enough THC in it to give you a psychotropic result or make you “feel high”. Instead of getting high, our products deliver pure CBG & Hemp at concentrated levels to deliver effective relief.

When the Hemp Farming Act was enacted in 2018, hemp was removed from the list of controlled substances and it was officially declared an agricultural commodity. As a recognized agricultural commodity, Hemp is now farmed throughout the country and its natural compounds are able to be used and consumed throughout the country. We have the ability to ship to all us territories and internationally.

At MEDCANNA our CBG & Hemp is extracted from hemp grown right here in the U.S.A.

WHAT DOES IT DO?

As we said earlier, CBG & Hemp are one of over 100 ingredients in the hemp plant. It is one of the many diverse chemical compounds that acts on ingredient receptors in the endoingredient system. The endoingredient system is a biological system that is composed of neurons, neural pathways, and receptors CB1 and CB2 of the nervous system. This helps regulate our body. Example being your working out and you sweat, you endoingredient System is telling your body your hot so you release sweat to cool body temp down!

Many studies have shown that the ingredients act as neuromodulators for many processes in the body. These can include motor learning and appetite or physical sensation. There are still many studies being conducted on what CBG & Hemp can do for those who choose to consume it, but the word we hear back from our customers tells us all we need to know. Thats why were dedicated to teaching and education and producing the MOST AFFORDABLE QUALITY PRODUCTS!

HOW IS CBG & Hemp OIL MADE?

Because hemp is a cousin plant to marijuana (as discussed above), hemp also has the same predominant compounds: CBG & HEMP, Terpenes and THC. Terpenes are other CBG’s & HEMP’s that bring a sense of “flavoring” or “note” to the resulting product. THC is the most talked about compound in hemp and marijuana. Levels of THC in hemp are naturally very low at .3% or bellow, rendering the resulting extract as “non psychoactive”. This is the CBG & Hemp product that isn’t going to leave you with a “high” feeling but provides all the healing benefits!

The trio of compounds that can be extracted from hemp after harvest will produce several options in “types” or “spectrums” of Hemp products. You will see this described on product labels with the terms: Full Spectrum, Broad Spectrum, or Hemp Isolate. OUR PRODUCTS ARE Hemp AND CBG ISOLATE AND ISOLATE IS THE ONLY WAY TO GUARANTEE ZERO THC.

Full Spectrum Hemp products or Hemp oils have all compounds found in the hemp plant. The product will contain HEMP, Terpenes and the .3% THC. Broad Spectrum products have VERY LITTLE THC but will still contain Terpenes with the HEMP. CBG & Hemp Isolate products are those who have just the isolated CBG & Hemp and nothing more. No THC or terpenes. This can be especially useful to know for those who are fearful that their Hemp consumption may cause them to potentially test positive on a pre-employment screening. ISOLATE PRODUCTS LIKE OURS ARE THE ONLY PRODUCTS THAT CAN GUARANTEE A NEGATIVE THC TEST EVERY SINGLE TIME!

At MEDCANNA CBG, all of our CBG & Hemp products are made using CBG & Hemp isolate. There is never any THC in our products. Guaranteed.

Once the hemp is harvested, the CBG & Hemp is pulled using a C02 based process. C02 extraction is a procedure that uses pressurized carbon dioxide to pull the desired CBG & Hemp phytoingredient from the plant that it grew in. This method is among the safest methods for compound extraction, ensuring that our isolated CBG & Hemp has been retrieved with the customer in mind. It’s ALWAYS about the CUSTOMER!

Once isolated and extracted from the hemp harvest, CBG & Hemp looks more like a crystalline powder – like ground sugar. We combine this Hemp & Hemp with MCT oil to create our tinctures.

MCT stands for Medium Chain Triglyceride. Medium Chain Triglycerides are a type of saturated fatty acid. Cannabigerol (CBG) &Hemp (HEMP) is a fat-soluble compound so it is most effective, and diffused for absorption when coupled with a lipid-like fatty acid. By choosing to use a quality carrier oil like a coconut MCT, we are ensuring the safest partner for our recognized, hemp-derived CBG & Hemp isolate. This means that you are getting the best most consistent product anton can produce!.

When reading the labels of our CBG &Hemp isolate tincture oils, there are three differences in Hemp strength that we offer: 500mg, 1000mg, and 3000mg. We have two strengths for our 1:1 RATIO CBG+Hemp tinctures 1000mg and 2000mg. You will find this number on the front of your MEDCANNA CBG & Hemp tincture bottle label. Each tincture bottle contains 1 fluid ounce (30 milliliters) of hemp-derived, CBG & Hemp tincture oil.

HOW DO WE USE IT?

Hemp Oil Tinctures are usually enjoyed sublingually. This means that you will use the dropper in the bottle to choose the desired amount. This is the optimal way to enjoy CBG & Hemp oil. By putting CBG & Hemp oil under your tongue, and holding it there for 60 seconds, the mucus membranes in the mouth can absorb the oil’s active ingredients quickly and easily.

The benefit of consuming Hemp oil sublingually is that the absorption process bypasses the digestive system and liver metabolization, allowing the compounds to get to the endoingredient system most efficiently. (Fast absorption and QUICK RESULTS.)

For those who may not like this form of consumption, some have been known to put their CBG & Hemp oil into their morning coffee, smoothie, or blend it into a side of salad dressing. This will require the product to be digested and go through the process before reaching levels of absorption. That may also affect how one feels the product is working, as the digestion process can break down compounds before they’re able to be completely absorbed.
